I think play is important, and I do “play” most days. Sometimes this is writing code for fun, sometimes this is playing video games, sometimes some other weird side hobby. It’s a bit hard to define; I enjoy reading, and I do that for fun, but I woudn’t call that “playing.”

I’m not sure what the mascot would be — though I think renaming the Cleveland Indians to the Cleveland Spiders was a missed opportunity — but I’ve always been surprised (though maybe I shouldn’t be) that no professional men’s team (that I know of, in the US) uses like a bold magenta in their colors.…
